2025-09-13 18:24:35 +0000 UTCThe Unown are surprisingly a really interesting Pokemon the more you learn about them, they're from a strange formless dimension and when multiple of them gather they're capable of warping reality and creating whatever you desire (we actually see this in the third film and a number of times in the games). The games also established that they may have a direct connection to the Pokemon worlds god, potentially being what he used to create reality like a sort of ancient script to exert his will, there's not been a 100% confirmation of it, but they've given plenty of hints to it over the years. You might not have noticed since we really only saw the one, but there's actually 28 different variations of unown, based on the 26 letters of the alphabet, and the ! and ? symbols.
