2025-02-16 00:09:46 +0000 UTCViserion and Rhaegal are pissed off at Dany as you correctly said, but they're just angry heckin good bois barking; they'll scare Dany, but they'd never harm her. Varys is a complex dood; I mean he is actually an agent of order, but his actions and motivations do often come to blows. He did obey Robert Baratheon's orders to have Dany unalived, but also thought Eddard Stark was the dood to keep things in order. Credit where it is due; Varys has never done anying malicious; hell he pleaded with Joffrey to not kill Eddard and even tried to save him from death by telling him to just accept that Joffrey, though a bastard born of incest, was going to be the one in power. Varys is as he has said many times no hero, but he's as principled as they come. I FUCKING LOVE JON. He called Mance out on his arrogance and every word he said was on point. Stannis is earnest in his intentions and if Mance just kneeled The Free Folk would be accepted into Westeros. Jon is also sick and tired of the killing, especially since he knows what is coming for all of them. He knows both Westeros and The Free Folk need to unite against The White Walkers. Its also worth noting that Stannis did not want to kill Mance, I mean yes, he was more after what Mance possessed aka thousands of followers, but Stannis is not bloodthirsty or a monster like Joffrey, Roose, Walder, Tywin, Ramsey, or Viserys. Also The Free Folk noticed Jon shooting Mance in the heart; not just witnessing it as observers, but they NOTICED what he did.
