2025-02-08 22:04:08 +0000 UTCI've said it before, but I think Inuyasha is one of Rumiko's best dramas. Kikyo is a really compellingly complex character, she's a good person, but she's in a really difficult place right now, she has no clue about what happened with Naraku 50 years ago, so she still thinks Inuyasha betrayed her back then, but he also recently tried saving her, so her thoughts about him are really muddled now. On top of having to deal with the fact she knows she's actually dead, she doesn't know quite what to do now, so she feels directionless and just wants to live peacefully for now. she's just so interesting as a character to me.
