However, they are the only kingdom that completely resisted being conquered by Aegon, dragons or not. I believe they even managed to kill one of the dragons and Aegon's sister who was riding it. This hard-fought independence is why the sovereigns of Dorne still have the titles of "Prince", as they were only brought into the fold a long time afterwards, through marriage.

2025-01-28 17:14:02 +0000 UTCI love Podrick's loyalty to Tyrion, likewise Tyrion does not want him to die to this Kangaroo court that he expects will see him die. Tyrion is saving all he can from this farce of a trial. Mance's plan of attack is honestly brilliant since the rear end of Castle Black is incredibly weak. A long while ago, The Night's Watch did attempt to sort of become their own power house, but I forget if it was a previous king or previous Warden of The North who more or less made Castle Black's back defenses super weak to prevent another insurrection. Either way, those Thenns+Ygritte+Tormund and their band is bad news for The Night's Watch Jon is also absolutely right; if Karl and the mutineers are captured, Mance will torture them and they will gladly give up anything he demands without a second thought. Even Alliser knows Jon is right, despite that he hates him. Not a mega fan of Daario myself, but what he did here was awesome. I gotta give him mad props XD I love that scene with the slave looking at the broken collar and then to one of the owners and then back to the collar. That is how you rile up a population to rebel. Also, the song that plays when she ordered the catapults to fire the barrels of broken chains is considered Dany's "War theme" I forgot the extact name, but it's more or less her main music.
