Misty leaving behind both her Starmie and Horsea was a bit surprising when I first saw it, but it kind of makes sense I guess? like, it means she has a good number of spaces open on her team to catch new ones (there's always a ton of good water pokemon each gen), but leaving Horsea behind feels like a bit of a waste, like, we haven't actually seen much from Horsea since she caught it, and it has a pretty strong evolution.
