We've also seen that Tyrion does not tolerate Joffrey's antics, so yeah, I can see why you're excited for him to be around. XD Tyrion also smoked Cersei. He had wanted to put her in her place for so long and he finally got his chance to. He's also not wrong, Tywin is already pissed off at her and he'd be even more pissed if he knew she did not have Arya. Mormont was not necessarily mad at Jon, but he's more or less telling him to be negotiable to otherwise less than pleasant company. He knows Craster is a POS and Mormont does not like him at all, but he knows that he needs to stomach the unpleasantness to ensure they get what they can from him. Being a leader requires working with people you do not like.

2024-12-06 16:24:41 +0000 UTCThis episode does a good job of showing the younger players in the game getting taught how to play by the more experienced ones. Bran hates sitting around doing nothing but listening to your people's problems and addressing them is part of being a ruler. Daenerys has dragons, but they're too small to do anything and the only people following her are a few of her late husband's guards, Jorah and a bunch of people left behind by the Dothraki, the old, sick and a few who are loyal to her. She has no real authority or military power behind her anymore so she needs to be smart. John Snow is still idealistic, Craster is the worst kind of person but he's also the Night Watch's only ally north of the wall. If he becomes their enemy or dies then they lose a valuable source of information, shelter and supplies. Even north of the wall there's still politics at play, the Commander is trying to teach John that. Even Sansa is learning to subtly get Joffery to do things through flattery. Joffery is the only one not really learning anything. Even Tyrion didn't bother talking to him and went straight to his mom to lay out all the mess they've made.

He was so good at his role as Joffrey that the kind of moronic people who can't differentiate between TV and reality verbally assaulted him on a relatively regular basis on the street, which is why he sadly decided not to appear in any projects of this scale again and hasn't acted quite as much, as far as I know. Though it was quite some time ago, maybe he's changed his mind since then, I haven't been following his career.
