I can't wait for Curtis' reaction to that one. Christmas came early for me, lol. As we're starting to see, Shigure is a very complicated and complex character. I can't say much without spoiling, but he's showing off how selfish he can be. He would be the first to admit his selfishness as long as it benefits him, even as he says here, even if it hurts the people he does care for. The fact that he knows it and embraces it makes me have mixed feelings.
