2024-11-27 13:53:01 +0000 UTCYeah but it's fair to assume Jesse is going a bit psychotic due to the enslavement and torture. In which case, he probably isn't thinking rationally. I think saying "well they warned you", works for rational humans, but Jesse is not all there mentally at this point in the show, so IMO it's not quite fair to judge him by regular standards. So instead of too "confident", I would say he was too delirious or desperate. Keep in mind he's got to be thinking they're going to kill him soon when they decide the cook is good enough.

After everything he's been through he probably just wanted to get as far away from them as possible and wasn't thinking about the consequences cause he was too confident about not getting caught but it is what it is I guess

Genius Also Jesse has by far had the roughest life in this show, there's never a moment of peace for Jesse. Andrea's death is one of the hardest scenes, no dark music, no special effects. It all plays in real time and you hear Jesse's pain.
