2024-11-18 14:04:36 +0000 UTCSo Yujiro won the actual fight, but Baki has reached a level where Yujiro can no longer be considered the Strongest Creature as he now has someone he can call a rival. It’s a good end to the fight. Baki has went above and beyond, but he still has a ways to go to achieve his goal of being “a little stronger” than his dad. So I love the series, I do. But when it comes to writing the original series (first manga series) did a way better job. The author wanted to keep going bigger and better and in a lot of ways went way too far. I still think it was good, but it does get hard carried by fights. From the Netflix Baki I think the Yujiro Arc, Chinese Tournament Arc, and Prisoner Arcs were the best. The original is just to good though. I keep up with the manga and watched the movie. From this point on it feels like Baki is a side character and the movie was just good fun (but you’d need to watch Kengan Ashura, which is a better series for story though it goes crazy too)
