2024-09-20 10:15:45 +0000 UTCI'm happy Ayeka got some character development and warmed up to Tenchi, when I first saw this I was afraid she'd be insufferable but I quickly came around (though Ryoko is still my favorite). We also got introduced to possibly the cutest spaceship in fiction :) I had also totally forgotten about the other ship turning into a tree.

2024-09-20 00:49:51 +0000 UTCDon't know if you caught it Curtis, but Ryoko's punch was stopped by Tenchi's Grandpa so she tried punching the stairway to see if she had gotten weaker but destroyed it. The theme of badass grandpas continues. Also, royalty marrying siblings wasn't uncommon in ancient times. The Ptolemies in Egypt's family tree is basically a straight line as they had siblings marrying for generations, ending with Cleopatra who turned out surprisingly well considering the state of her genes.
