Christmas With The Preggos

New little two-parter I'm going to TRY and finish before Christmas!

Christmas With The Preggos

By Brimmingbelly04

Chapter One

"Good God!" Ryan exclaimed, using a slightly different religiously themed greeting than most did when they saw each other during the holiday season. Even after the two words had left it, his mouth remained open as he took in the sight of his younger brother in the flesh for the first time in several months.

"Merry almost Christmas to you too, asshole!" Tyler replied, rolling his eyes as he used the almost correct greeting, altering it slightly more by flipping his older sibling off as he delivered it.

Ryan was too preoccupied to register the offensive name or gesture. He just continued to stand there on his brother's front porch, staring slack-jawed, letting all the cold, December air into the house. He was frozen in place, not by the low temperature, but by the sight of Tyler, his usual mirror-image, now looking anything but from the neck down. While their faces still looked almost exactly the same, it looked as though his "little" brother's torso had been inflated with air and the pump was still running! Pregnant with twins and due in just a couple weeks, Ryan had expected Tyler to be big, but the reality was that "big" no longer did his fecund twin justice and by the looks of it, hadn't for some time!

"You gonna come in or you just gonna stand there and stare at me?" Tyler asked as he stepped back from the door, doing his best not to shiver as he felt a cold gust of air blow against his exposed lower belly.

Ryan nodded. "Yeah, I'm… Sorry, I'm just…"

"Surprised..?" His twin ventured a guess.

"Yes!"

"I wouldn't think you'd be."

"I know, but it's just weird seeing you so… so big! It's like seeing myself pregnant, and…" Ryan trailed off as he shook his head.

"Well come be surprised inside before you go and let all the heat out," Tyler said, sounding like his dad before belatedly realizing someone rather important was missing. "Wait, where's Evan?"

"Coming!" The man in question, Ryan's longtime boyfriend and recent fiancé, called out.

His shout was followed by several loud huffs as he waddled up the walkway, his own impressive belly leading the way. He'd learn in a moment, as soon as he looked up from it that big as he thought and felt it was, it paled in comparison to the one his future brother-in-law was sporting.

"Jesus Christ!" He exclaimed after raising his head and coming to as abrupt a stop as his bloated body allowed, his belly and chest still bouncing about beneath his sweater for another moment after his feet came to rest.

"You two really need to work on your greetings…" Tyler muttered as he shook his head.

Seeing Tyler for the first time since he and Ryan's annual Fourth of July party, Evan was just as shocked as his fiancé had been a few moments earlier. "And I thought I was big!" The other pregnant man said, shaking his head in disbelief as he started forward again.

"Merry Christmas, Evan," Tyler replied with another roll of his eyes, though he refrained from giving his eventual brother-in-law the bird.

"Sorry!" The less pregnant man apologized, knowing all too well how comments about his own size often made him feel. As he stepped inside, he extended his arms beyond his swell (something he could still do) to offer his host a hug, or at least try to… "Merry Christmas!"

As could be expected, the attempted embrace was awkward thanks to their babies-filled bellies and engorged chests. Having anticipated such, Ryan was ready and laughed loudly as he used his phone to take a photo of the comical moment.

"I knew that was gonna be good!" He laughed as he looked down at the image he'd sneakily taken.

"I dunno how you put up with him…" Tyler groaned as he flipped his brother off again over Evan's left shoulder as they ended their embrace.

"I don't even know most of the time!" Evan admitted with a sigh. "Safe to say, I didn't necessarily mean to get pregnant…"

"Hey!" Ryan shouted.

"I'm kidding. Well, kind of…"

"Well…" Tyler sighed. "If there's any consolation to being with my idiot brother, it's that it's had to have given you some practice dealing with a baby!" He smirked. "He may be older than me, but he's always been the immature one."

"Ugh, right?!"

"I'm standing right here, you jerks!" Ryan reminded in a huff.

"And shouldn't you be getting our bags?" Evan replied.

"I told you, I have to go to the bathroom first!" Ryan said as he took off his jacket.

"He has to go to the bathroom," his fiancé emphasized to their host. "Not me for a change!"

"Only 'cause we stopped what, four times for you?!"

"I have a legitimate excuse! What's yours? Oh, I know… Stopping at some random 7-Eleven for lunch, and yes, I'm fine with getting food from there sometimes, but only the ones I know, so even with all the weird cravings I've been having, me and the baby know better than to eat a chili cheese dog and some dry ass wings that looked like they were made three days ago, while traveling!" Evan shuddered before adding to Tyler, "He's disgusting!"

"He always has been," the more pregnant man nodded knowingly as he finally shut the front door, knowing now that his brother needed to unload his bowels before he was going to unload the car. "If you're gonna make a stink," he said once he'd turned towards Ryan but then paused. "If!" He laughed just as loudly as his twin had when he'd snuck that damn picture. "Since you are, go upstairs and do it in your bathroom," he requested with a nod in the direction of the stairs.

Ryan frowned. "But we're gonna be sleeping in there!"

"Not for hours, and don't worry… I put a brand new can of Febreze on the counter since I know you and your stench so well, so feel free to blow it up, so long as you remember to spray before, during and after!"

"What scent did you get?"

"Gain," Tyler replied. "It works best in my opinion."

"Mine too," Ryan and Evan replied in unison, making the three of them laugh as Ryan hung his coat up in the closet before heading upstairs to "take care of business," leaving his pregnant brother and fiancé alone in the foyer.

Each had their hands on their lower backs, thrusting their bellies even further than they now already stuck for the much needed support. Tyler especially needed it as he leaned in a little closer to Evan (since he hadn't heard the door to the guest room open yet) and whispered, "You probably need to go again, don't you?"

"Yes!!!" Evan nodded almost frantically. "How'd you…" he started before quickly stopping himself from asking the rest of the obviously pointless question. "Thanks for getting rid of him."

"It's one of my specialities," Tyler smirked. "Happy to see I'm still pretty good at it after all these years."

Evan smiled. "You might still be good at it but I still envy the relationship you two have… You guys obviously love each other a lot."

"I don't think that's obvious…"

He laughed. "What I mean is that I envy how close you are, but how you can give each other shit and be totally, brutally honest when needed without it leading to World War III. My brothers and I, well… It seems we all hate each other more often than not," Evan rolled his eyes again.

"You'll have to tell me how Thanksgiving at Stephen's went when you're done," the twin-carrying man said as he guided his future in-law to the powder room down the hall.

"Oh, it's a story!" Evan said as he entered the small bathroom Tyler had come to have trouble fitting in but still used when he had to go while on the main floor since it was easier than taking the stairs up to his big bathroom whenever he had to go, which was somehow still becoming more and more often…

"I'll be in the kitchen waiting to hear it."

"Where's Matt?" He asked as he held the door open behind him.

"At work, but he should be home soon," Tyler replied. "Maybe even before Ryan finishes taking his dump?" He added with a wink.

"God, probably…" Evan groaned as he started closing the door. "He takes longer than me in the bathroom, and I'm not all too quick anymore!"

"I know all about that…"

"If anyone does, it'd definitely be you!"

Tyler laughed as he continued on at a waddle to the kitchen. He'd gotten the timing perfect, so the hors d'oeuvres he'd put in the oven would be ready in the next ten minutes, giving him and Evan a headstart on them while Ryan took his sweet, stinky time and his husband, Matt, made his way home. Along with the assortment of previously frozen appetizers, Tyler had picked up plenty of beer and wine for "the guys," along with plenty of soft drinks for he and Evan when he'd gone to the store the day before. Also added to the cart were lots of snacks and extra basics, all of which Tyler planned on enjoying over the course of the next few days, along with his weekly allowance of a couple glasses of wine.

As he entered the kitchen, the very pregnant thirty-three year old recalled how it used to take a couple double vodka sodas, or several glasses of wine to get him buzzed… He (somewhat) wished that were the case again, but also liked how it presently only took a glass of wine or the occasional beer to do the trick.

While it was true he could "go" at any time now, it was still going to be awhile before Tyler was going to be able to drink like he used to… Even after the babies were no longer inside him, he planned on feeding them from his chest for the foreseeable future, meaning he'd continue to have to limit his alcohol intake. By no means was he looking forward to breastfeeding, but he planned on giving it his best shot because of all the developmental and nutritional benefits it would provide the twins. On a slightly more selfish note, more important to Tyler was the fact that breastfeeding was supposed to help him lose the baby weight faster, and after carrying the two he and Matt had tried so long and hard for, unfortunately, he was going to be left with a rather serious amount to shed…

Working over the side of his tremendous belly, Tyler filled two of the four Tiffany champagne flutes he and Matt had been gifted for their wedding from his cousin Paul and his wife, Katie. Instead of with champagne, he filled the flutes with sparkling cider for he and Evan because as much as he wanted something harder, he didn't want to come off as a lush in front of his twin's future spouse, at least not until he absolutely had to, which would likely be the case once the four of them arrived at the beach where they'd be celebrating Christmas with Ryan and Tyler's parents, and everyone started getting on each other's nerves.

Looking down, the twin-filled twin found himself surprised yet grateful yet again as to just how pregnant he was. He and Matt had been married for six years by then and trying to start their family for almost three. After a year and a half of no luck, they'd started seeing doctor after doctor, assuming there was a problem with one or both of them.

Various tests were performed by various individuals resulting in some good but surprising news: there was nothing physically or genetically wrong with either of them. Despite the good news, they still couldn't get pregnant and on the rare occasion when Tyler did, the pregnancy always sputtered out before it ever really got anywhere. If there was any good news, it was that none of his previous pregnancies reached the point where medical intervention was necessary when they naturally terminated for whatever reason.

Presently, Tyler was more pregnant than he ever imagined he could, let alone ever would be. It was all thanks to the "miracle" drug the doctor he'd eventually been referred to, Dr. William Allen, had put him on. While he couldn't remember its name, he would never forget how sick the drug initially made him… Since Tyler had been pregnant before (even if never for long,) he'd experienced morning sickness and as much as it'd sucked then, he wished that was all he had week after week as he kept going in to see Dr. Allen for yet another shot.

The day after he got it was always the worst. Tyler would throw up nearly every fifteen minutes like clockwork for the entire day, but once the shots stopped and Dr. Allen told he and Matt they could try again that very night, the sickness came to an immediate end and didn't return, leaving Tyler to assume the drug hadn't worked, but then that all too familiar queasy feeling returned a few weeks later… Following his "drugging," he got pregnant right away, and very pregnant at that. Most importantly, this time he stayed pregnant with what he'd learn a few weeks later was with two babies. After trying so hard and long, the couple was elated and became even more so as the pregnancy continued to progress without any issues.

Until four months in. At that time, something changed, and Tyler started getting really big, really fast. One of the side effects of the drug Dr. Allen had given him kicked in: "robust fetal growth." The doctor had informed the couple of all the drug's potential side effects, but prefaced his warning with how he didn't expect Tyler to experience any of them if he got pregnant, given his previous challenges. But once Tyler got and stayed pregnant, he really did, making him an exception to the rules. Around the same time, he got a call from Ryan letting him know Evan was pregnant as well.

"Mom and Dad are gonna kill me!" He'd groaned.

"Why? Just 'cause you guys aren't married yet?"

"Um, yeah!"

"You and Evan had been together for years! They love him and you guys are engaged," Tyler listed off. "They're not that old fashioned, dude. You're fine."

"He's insisting we push the wedding back so he doesn't have to waddle down the aisle."

"OK, so..? I wouldn't want to either."

"I'm not gonna make him, but…"

"Sorry, bro," Tyler apologized. "But if it's sympathy you're looking for…"

"I'm not gonna get any from you, am I?" His brother sighed.

"No, but you don't even need it. But do thank your fiancé for me."

"For what?" Ryan asked.

"For pushing the wedding back so I won't have to waddle down the aisle as your best man!" His pregnant "little" brother laughed.

Presently, Evan waddled into the kitchen and let out a relieved sigh as he made his way to the closest stool at the large island. "I know I was sitting the whole time in the car, but…"

"Say no more, my friend," Tyler replied knowingly as he leaned against the island, supporting his still ever increasing weight on his forearms while letting his belly hang down beneath him as he reached for one of the flutes he'd filled. "Cheers!" He smiled as he raised it. "It's just sparking cider, by the way," he informed after Evan hesitated for a second.

"Thanks. I do have a glass of wine every now and again," the other pregnant man admitted. "I hope you don't think…"

"Ohmygod, me too!" Tyler grinned as he raised his flute higher. "Thanks for telling me so I don't feel like a pregnant lush!"

"God, I miss drinking!" Evan groaned as he returned the gesture. "But cheers to us and our soon-to-be families," he toasted.

After clinking their crystal together, the expectant men took sips, both wishing they were drinking some actual bubbly. Both of them silently reminded themselves they'd be having their allotted alcohol soon enough, probably within hours of arriving at the beach…

"So let's hear about Thanksgiving," Tyler requested as he set his flute back down.

"What did Ryan tell you?" Evan asked as he did the same.

"Nothing."

"Of course he didn't…" he sighed. "But to be fair, probably 'cause it was so bad and he and I were so mad, not to mention mortified!" He rolled his eyes.

"Uh oh…"

"Yeah. So you know how condescending and self-righteous Stephen can be, right?"

Having met Evan's younger brother a handful of times over the years, as well as from hearing stories about him, Tyler knew all about Stephen's tendency to come off as being better than everyone else, so he nodded in confirmation. "Yep."

"Well he took it to an entirely new level this year, and like he has any right to?!" Evan scoffed. "He had his first kid when he was nineteen!" He emphasized the young age. "But now that he's married and just had his 'legitimate' third with Eddie, who don't you dare forget, is the 'most successful' lawyer in their podunk town, he seems to have all but forgotten about that and just thinks he's the absolute greatest!" He rolled his eyes again. "He wouldn't stop giving us shit about being pregnant but not married! Doesn't matter to him that we will be, unlike he was when he was pregnant the first time and had to drop out of college, which by the way, he never ended up going back to!"

Tyler didn't mean to, but he chuckled. "Hey, give Stephen some credit for eventually finding a seemingly good guy willing to marry him." As much as he didn't like Stephen, he liked Eddie, something he hadn't expected after meeting Ryan's brother by himself.

"Oh, I do!" Evan rolled his eyes yet again. "But I give most of the credit to Eddie for being able to put up with him!"

"Well…"

"Exactly!"

"I know you and Stephen don't really get along, but you and Derrick seem to…" Tyler paused. "To have better manners than him, that's for sure!" He huffed. "It's almost as if you guys aren't from the same family!"

"And that's putting it nicely! Get this… Stephen made Ryan and I and my parents stay in a hotel, which none of us booked since we assumed we'd be staying in one of the many, extra rooms he has that he can never stop talking about, but no!" Evan shook his head. "So we had to scramble to find a place to stay, which ended up being a damn Motel 6!" He groaned.

Tyler grimaced. "No…"

"Yes. It was that or an hour drive to the closest decent place with vacancy. Needless to say, it was a long, awful stay."

"Well, at least you got to enjoy Derrick's cooking, right?" He shrugged.

Evan shook his head. "No, 'cause he didn't come."

"Why not?"

"He went to Chloe's family's this year."

"I guess that means things are getting serious?"

"They are," Evan nodded. "He asked her dad for her hand while they were there."

"Oh wow!" Tyler grinned. "Did he ask her yet?"

"Pretty soon after they arrived. He hid the ring in her serving of mashed potatoes!"

Tyler laughed and shook his head. "That's something your chef brother would do!"

"Right? I'm happy for him. I like her."

"They've been together a couple years now, right?"

"Uh huh," Evan confirmed.

"And I still haven't met her yet."

"You will at the wedding."

"Theirs or yours?" Tyler laughed again as he pushed himself off the counter so he could pull the hors d'oeuvres out of the oven.

"Mine!"

"Have you decided on a new date yet?"

"Not yet, but I want it to be sometime in May," Evan replied. "That'll give me three months to lose what's left once he's outta here," he said as he looked down at and gave his belly a couple solid pats.

Tyler frowned as he placed one of the trays on top of the stove. "That gives me less than four months to lose whatever I'll be left with, which safe to say, is gonna be more than you. Ugh…"

Evan had to chuckle. "Sorry, man."

"It's not your fault. And don't get me wrong…" Tyler shook his head. "I'm thankful we're finally having kids, but also damn that drug!"

"I mean of course since you're having twins, you were bound to get bigger than me, but…" his future in-law trailed off.

"When our mom was pregnant with me and Ryan, she got big, but nowhere near as big as I am, and I could still go another two weeks!"

"Does your doctor think you'll actually go that long?" Evan asked.

Tyler sighed. "He didn't say no, so…"

"And you're still planning on doing it naturally?"

The twin-filled man sighed again. Aside from wanting to know when he was due and with how many, how he was going to give birth to his two big babies was what most people were interested in. Despite "D-Day" getting closer by the minute, Tyler had yet to decide which method he was going to use, but was leaning more towards the natural route since difficult as doing so would be, recovering from it would be quicker and easier compared to having a c-section and with twins, he and Matt were going to have their hands full as it was as soon as they arrived.

"So what about you?" He asked Evan after sharing his thoughts on the matter.

"I'm in the same boat. Probably gonna give natural a go, but with an epidural."

"Oh, me too!" Tyler nodded.

"I'm still not looking forward to it though 'cause my doctor thinks the baby's gonna be close to 11 lbs if I make it to my due date."

"Dr. Allen thinks the twins are gonna be close to 9 ½ each. Maybe ten…"

"Each?!" Evan repeated with an audible swallow.

Tyler nodded as he looked down and gestured at his swell. "I mean look at me!"

"It's kinda hard not to!"

"Har, har… Anyway, I feel and look so big, I'd be pleasantly surprised if they were only that big!"

"It's weird…"

"What is?" Tyler asked.

"Seeing you pregnant," Evan replied. "It's like seeing Ryan pregnant, which I never thought I would."

"'Cause you won't!" Ryan said with a chuckle as he entered the kitchen.

"How'd your birth experience go?" His brother asked him.

"My birth experience..?"

"Your 7-Eleven food baby!"

"Oh!" The only non-pregnant man in the room laughed. "Good! Better than I expected, but still… Thank God for Febreze!"

Evan rolled his eyes and shook his head as he looked at his husband-to-be in dismay. "You are so gross!"

"Hey…" Ryan held his hands up in defense before reaching for the bottle of champagne his brother had left in the ice bucket on the island. "I don't make fun of the smells you make, and you're capable of creating some pretty gnarly ones at the moment, sir!"

"Which is half your fault, so if you made fun of me, one, you'd be a real jerk, and two, you'd also be making fun of your own damn self!"

"And that would just be uncalled for," Tyler chimed in as he grabbed a spatula from the drawer and set to work taking hors d'oeuvres off the still hot pan, once again working sideways since he couldn't face the counter head-on thanks to his babies-filled middle. "Considering how much we've been making fun of you in your absence!" He chuckled.

"The two of you are always making fun of me," Ryan agreed. "Even when you're not together! I think I'm gonna have to tell Mom when she gets here tomorrow…"

"See…" his brother huffed and shook his head as he pointed his spatula in his direction. "He's such a baby!"

"Not to mention a big tattletail!" Evan said as he slapped his man firmly on the ass.

"Ouch!"

"Oh, you know you like it!"

"No comment," Ryan giggled and smirked, making his brother groan.

"Please don't go get all handsy in my kitchen!"

"Don't worry," the other pregnant man laughed. "The only thing I wanna get my hands on right now are those pigs in a blanket!" He said with a lick of his lips.

"Seriously?!" Ryan huffed. "Weren't you just giving me shit for eating a hotdog?"

"I gave you shit for eating a chili cheese dog from 7-Eleven, which is what literally gave you shit!"

"It's still a hotdog!"

"Only according to the bare-minimum standards!"

"No…" Ryan disagreed. "That distinction is held by a tiny ass pig in a blanket!" He pointed to the plate his brother was loading up with them.

"If anyone should know that size doesn't matter, babe, it's…" Evan began to retort.

"Ha!" Ryan scoffed as he turned to Tyler. "Are you gonna let him talk to us like that, or are you gonna stay on his side just 'cause the two of you are pregnant?!"

His brother rolled his eyes. "We may be identical twins, but I can't say for sure just how identical we are?" He shrugged as he nodded towards his brother's crotch. "But what I can say is that I've never gotten any complaints about what I'm working with downstairs…"

"He was kidding!" Ryan said as he pointed at Evan. "Tell him you were kidding, babe!"

"Get me a plate of pigs in a blanket and I'll think about it," his pregnant boyfriend shrugged.

"We can share one," he nodded as he grabbed a plate from the stack. "I've got plenty of room now, so hurry up, big, lil' bro!" He teased his brother. "Big…" he chuckled as he shook his head. "More like huge!"

"On that lovely note, if you somehow failed to notice, I'm a little encumbered over here," Tyler replied as he pointed out his awkward positioning in front of the stove.

"Oh, I noticed!" Ryan needlessly confirmed. "Now less talking, more plating! Your guests are hungry!"

"Do you let him talk to you like this, Evan?"

"No way! He wouldn't even try on me… Yeah, he's dumb, but not that dumb…"

Tyler shook his head, not sure he entirely agreed. "If you say so…"
