Want the feelings all to stop
Back and forth with feeling blue

Even running high-speed, I'd never start to see down the road I need to someday catch up - MAYDAY

Putting on a mask is tiring, though
I won't complain, I'll just keep closed

The dark skies of real life shine no light on dreamers
I push through these days with a face I don't know
As if I have no existence,
The world moves on relentless
You can't change a thing with feelings in the way,
It all comes falling down
When you wake to your dream,
In your own eyes, what will you see?

Fighting through these dark days,
Someday, I'll see the sun rays
What's wrong?
I'm no longer able to dream like the me inside
So I'll wait for that day to show me it's face
Standing here, I see it
What it is I'm needing
If I can't waste the feelings buried deep inside
Mix them in, mix them in, mix them in til I'm born again
And live this dream forevermore

The cost of living that dream
Is to be hated for being me
Even if the world won't let me be
There's no way I can say that I'm happy this empty
