Fallout 4 Engine headache
Added 2020-12-01 12:10:32 +0000 UTCSo i was working on recreating she School of Silent Hill 1 inside Fallout 4 and i started to notice something strange.. everytime when i crossed cell borders ingame the engine crashed when i was inside the shool. It was such a strange thing to happen i needed to investigate and it turns out that a texture i made for a poster was not exactly the dividable size by 8. It was something like 512x265 and not 512x256. (clearly a typo) so those few extra pixels on the texture completley crashed the game even though the texture itself was displayed correctly.
So if you have some mods or circumstances where you always crash in a certain location. It might be a mod with a faulty texture.
