I've been saying that I'm building this renpy game thingy for a while...
Well I've actually started digging in...
It's just the beginning...and I'm still learning...
I kinda suck at this....but I hope to improve over time.
This sample is really short, so don't expect more than a few minutes...but it has music and sound…
Also, if you are not familiar with renpy VNs... Once you launch and start the game you, basically, just left mouse click through it.
Don't click too fast, as there are some frame based animations, which can get interrupted if you click too fast.
Try just clicking and then pause for a few seconds then click again...repeat...

PS in the preferences for the game I set the music a little lower than the sounds
and I slow down the text speed to match the tempo of the music.
Try to get in to the dark gloomy film noir vibe.
