I get what you're saying about double standard on aging. What people in the public eye put themselves through to hang onto a youthful or more perfect appearance is baffling to me. There's much to be said for embracing one's age and not fighting it every step of the way. We've all earned the laugh lines, white beards and greying hair. They're signs of a life well-lived.
