He reminds me of Hawk from Cobra Kai. I knew Hawk's face seemed familiar when I first saw him, but I just couldn't place it.

I had a close call with lighting on my first ship. We were coming up the Cooper River, headed home to Charleston, South Carolina. I was standing lookout watch on the signal bridge, next to the close-in-weapon-system. I heard the crackling through the masts, got blown about 20 feet from where I was, and woke up in sickbay. I lucked out with a concussion and a blown-out steel toe on one of my boots. The safety investigation discovered the grounding strap on the weapon mount wasn't connected properly. I didn't get anywhere near a full strike - I can't imagine how dead that would've made me. Fun times...
