That scene with Bellamy's death was absolutely devastating especially in the Bellamy/Bellarke fandom because Clarke was the one to kill him and then left without the book she was intending to get in the first place. Its worse because Bellamy's actor Bob Morley took time off that season for his mental health because when he was filming season 6, he had knee surgery and was still recovering but still went to work so spent most of that season sitting down but that took a toll on him amongst other things so that's why he took time off and wasn't in most of season 7 and Bob blames himself for the way Bellamy's journey ended the way it did because he chose his mental health over his job/the show but it's not his fault at all as he did what was best for him so it was the writers and the showrunner Jason Rothenburg who chose to do that to Bellamy and Bob especially Jason, who is known to be racist and treat the people of colour on the cast horribly like Jarod Joseph who plays miller and Ricky Whittle who played Lincoln which is why Lincoln died in season 3 and Ricky left the show but it was happening with Bob too during season 7.
