His morbid and sardonic humor makes for amazing moments especially with the unlimited ammo he has The charismatic way he talks and makes deals and manipulates the cast. He literally was inches away from ending the series in this episode, and he did it just by putting the siblings emotions on edge. And just how overall TERRIFYING he is. When they started the episode and they had the moment where Bill’s shadow appeared, it sent a genuine creep in my body.

2023-05-06 16:37:15 +0000 UTCA few interesting things regarding this episode. First, it’s popularly theorized that the laptop didn’t actually have a limit to password attempts. Rather, Bill caused Dipper to hallucinate that. Him having very little sleep probably made it easy. Second, it’s confirmed that after this episode, Mabel found a note written by Bill while he was in the car. To paraphrase, he wrote about his fascination with the senses a physical form gave him, mainly pain. If he succeeded, he had planned to “give the body the finale it deserves:” by taking a swan dive off the water tower and essentially making the world believe Dipper went crazy and “game overed” himself. Bill is scary.
