We have made it very clear that he wasnt accepting his extreme emotions or his powers throughout the show. He slowly got more used to them, but he never actually accepted them until this last episode. So now he is "One and only one". I also love how we have the first opening playing for Reigen in the most hype scene of the episode. Because Reigen finally has to give it his all, to be all he really can be. He has to accept outloud that he is not special, so he can be what he wants to be. That is actually kinda a theme of the arc, we also have the percentage count working for Ritsu last episode. All in all, this is the perfect ending for Mob Psycho 100 and my second favorite ending of any show, behind Code Geass.

Unfortunately no season 4 announced as of yet, but we'll almost certainly get it since the series is so popular.
