He should get a sponsorship from the seller because their swords are being used to beat down the strongest people in the galaxy, talk about free advertising.

On a more serious note, what I love about Gintama is how much development they give even the most minor of characters. Abuto is introduced in the Yoshiwara in Flames arc as what you'd expect to be a one-off villain for Kagura to wreck. Then over time he is given little pieces of characterization culminating in this episode alongside Kamui. This show truly is a masterpiece

Kamui's focus on becoming empty to be the strongest, while Utsuro is literally the definition of emptiness. Both Kamui and Takasugi feeling guilty about their own weakness to protect the ones they loved and the display of how each character dealt with the grief. Both Gintoki and Umibozu having to choose between two ultimatums and having to live with that decision for the rest of their lives.
