OKAY, FROSTY THE DRAGON, LET'S GO! - Overlord 4x6

Felt like this season was so long, but at the same time it felt so damn short.

You're right, Ainz was the guild leader, not he strategist, not sure why I wrote that (had some wires crossed). He was strategic in his playstyle in terms of having in depth knowledge of the game and its systems, rather than being naturally skilled or having an overpowered build.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't their strategist a person called Punitto Moe? Ainz himself admitted that he's really just following Punitto's handy dandy "For Dummies" guide, when it comes to battling. Ainz role was that of the head master of the guild, a position he earned because his inoffensive personality let him get along with pretty much anyone, although he was extremely dedicated to the game. So much so, that, from what I remember, he became one of the best spellcasters, simply by remembering an insane amount of spells, as, the way the system works, the player actually has to remember and perform the spells themselves and can't just press a button or pick from a list.

As an Irishman I kind of agree with the dwarve that said "A guy who can't drink can't be trusted" Since literally most of the friends I've ever made or the people that i trust the most have been my drinking buddies. But i think an exception of Ainz can be made If his doings and accomplishments, and power of course, are something to go about

Ainz was the strategist of the guild when it was a game, he became a powerful player mostly from his in depth knowledge of the game and its systems. The downside is that he tends to over-analyze things and often assume the worst case scenario. Thus him missing out on the fact that his death knights just fell down a cliff. And his subordinates assume he's all knowing so they just go along with whatever he tells them, even if they spot the inconsistencies.
