Is more or less the strategy that the Roman Empire took in its early days. They adopted a policy that made the benefits of being a Roman citizens, far outweigh the benefits of going to war with them.

2023-03-25 15:44:40 +0000 UTCRandom trivia: the maids are low level homunculi, not humans, none of his servants are human except for Tuare, the girl Sebastian saved and who joined up because of him. Regarding the death knight and Hamuske, Ainz has been experimenting with seeing whether his servants are limited to just the skills/abilities they were created with, or if they can grow beyond them. It was similar to seeing whether Cocytus could learn to think independently when dealing with the lizardmen. In the previous season, Aura misunderstood Ainz and thought that he wanted her to be one of his wives which is why she now treats Albedo as a rival. Ainze creates misunderstandings just by existing.

Hehehe it took a while but the anime knew what we wanted to see with the Return of overlord. Ainz dripping with royalty, Aura and Mare being adorable, and our beloved guardian overseer Albedo being thirsty four or papa bones!
