I hated Hawkins something fierce. Seeing Killer get revenge and save his captain at the same time was epic. He actually outwitted Hawkins through cunning rather than brute strength. Hawkins: Cards reveal thy future! Cards: You gonna die. Hawkins: Nani!? Cards: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Forgot to mention, but just as a reminder Kid lost his left arm when fighting Shanks crew before Wano. It was one of Shanks boys that sliced off Kid's arm, it was offscreened....but hopefully we get more to that story someday down the road

Given the current pace of the anime, this arc should reach its conclusion probably early 2024 (given that they've been adopting slightly less than 1 chapter per episode if you includes the occasional break and fluff episode). All aboard the wait train.

Doesn't Hawkins know that Strawmen are meant to be easy to knock down? He should've known to fold. But now we only have the big boi + big mom fights left. Also, for those who've seen the latest chapter, 1079, OOF! I normally have a, oh just you wait, moment when watching with Curtis, but that chapter is gonna make me shrink back a lot. Can't wait for Curtis to find out but that might be a year or so. Until then. OOF!

I can promise you and all the anime only watchers; that moving forward the story will reach even higher peaks like never seen before! It’s going to be on the same levels as DBZ, Marineford, and Chimera Ant Arc levels of hype! It’s an amazing time to be a One Piece fan. 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
