Idk if its just implied or if its legit, but I do believe the swords have their own "souls". Enma is Zoro's greatest weapon as it is one of the two blades that gave Kaido his worst/ most painful scar. He actually kind of fears the blades wielded by Oden, since he knows they can hurt him, but he is unsure if they can kill him. With The Tobi Roppo dealt with, I think this is the time for OP to delve into the backstories of King and Queen as they are the most important antagonists behind Big Mom and Kaido. Jack is unfortunately that third wheel people forget about XD I think I have an idea on why you hate Queen so much and it may have to do with how much of a trashtalker he is. He is also arguably the most evil of Kaido's big three, I'd say King is the least evil, but the threshold is rather vast. I also only say this because Jack and Queen have actively harmed their own members where as King has not. Plus if you line him up with Caeser Clown and Judge, he kind of makes them seem less intolerable to a degree(Although one can make an argument that Clown was as bad as Queen and I can only pretend to overlook his deeds because he became a slapstick comedy piece, like the author agrees with the readers/viewers that he's a piece of trash).

I think its more alogn the lines of a legacy being carried on, maybe similarly to how Luffy seems to be carrying on Joyboy's legacy (Unless One Piece pulls some Naruto twist and Luffy is a reincarnation or some shit)

2023-03-14 15:38:06 +0000 UTCA few things to note from this episode, sorry if this is a bit long: Lunarian and The Land of Gods Whitebeard told Marco that a long time ago before Marijoa there was a Land of Gods on the top of the Red Line. Now remember before Roger died he told Whitebeard about the One Piece and its history. So for Whitebeard to drunk talk about this stuff is not merely for laughs but given context it is legitimate. Now we know King is a special race since Big Mom and Marco both referenced it. And in this episode Queen implied that King is from a race called Lunarian. Apparently Lunarians have the ability to light flames on their back. So now there's a bigger connection here because as mentioned on the top of the Red Line there was a Land of Gods and the Lunarians who can control flames lived there. And a few episodes ago we learned about a God....the Sun God Nika! So these are all intertwined. And if that's the case then that means at some point the World Government defeated Nika and the Lunarians. Remember the Celestial Dragons are called the "Gods" of the world and they're lead by the Five Elders and their secret leader, the final villain Imu. So there's a bigger story waiting to be told from all these reveals. Zoro's Family Lineage As mentioned by Hyogoro there are 2 important figures Zoro is being compared to, the first is one of the Daiymos of Wano, Shimotsuki Ushimaru. Now the name Shimotsuki is a name we've heard before because Yasuie last name was Shimotsuki so this other guy is related to Yasuie, especially since they both have blue hair. So based on the silhouette Ushimaru has a resemblance with Zoro. Also Kawamatsu mentioned Zoro uses the same sword style as Ushimaru, so they both use 3 Sword Style! And then there is the connections with Ryuma, so remember Ryuma is known as God of the Blade. He was likely an even stronger swordsman than Mihawk! Before One Piece, Oda drew a pilot series called Monster. Luffy and Ryuma were some of the main characters. In that story it was shown that Ryuma single handly slayed a dragon. This legend is mentioned and canon to the One Piece story whenever Ryuma is mentioned. In Punk Hazard, Zoro slayed a dragon when the crew met Kinemon. Zoro and Ryuma fought in Thriller Bark, but remember it was only Ryuma's corpse with Brook's shadow because of Gecko Moria stealing Ryuma's grave when he went to Wano long ago. So Zoro has some intertwining connections to Ryuma. So since Ushimaru us a descendant of Ryuma and Zoro resembles both of these great swordsmen, so there is a deeper familial connection for Zoro and the Shimotsuki family in Wano.
