the way i see it, empathy is deserved to an extent considering the circumstances and the cards he was dealt. but the part where i draw the line is when someone just flat-out refuses to ever take any sort of responsibility for themselves. there's just no excuse for that. he played-into the victim role and that was his choice, so in his mind nothing is ever his fault and it's always everyone else whose to blame... that attitude is not deserving of any empathy.

2023-03-01 08:37:26 +0000 UTCcut up and burnt...yeah let's just say that's not the worst thing that happens to one of Chris's medallions... you might not believe me, but we're actually still in the shallow end of how dark it gets, it's either next part or the following one were one of the trolls is particularly twisted and messed up, I'm not going to spoil it for you, it's something you have to see yourself to truly "appreciate" (I don't know how else to phrase it) it's one of the few times I actually feel bad for him, hopefully the documentary includes the audio from that reveal. Oh also to address the whole thing about getting Chris off the internet and getting him help, that'll eventually get addressed and you'll realize why it just won't work for him, he enjoys it too much, he adores the attention, even negative forms of it. I'm of the belief that he's at least partly aware of what's going on around him and just lets it happen because he prefers being in the "spotlight" instead of actually fixing himself, because he's proven multiple times he is capable of functioning somewhat normally, he also for a while even did get help but decide to hop right back into this mess.
