So they decided they'd play a pair of twins when they created the characters. They also decided to play half-elves, which in D&D come about in two ways. Your resident human bard has a fling with an elven princess that your Dungeon Master threw in your path. A human and an elf love each other very much. Or two half-elves love each other very much. In their case, they were the bastard children of an Elf Noble and a Human Commoner. So yeah...that's why their father is such a dick.

Percy was being too hasty and didn't properly check for traps or magic, he managed a saving throw, but Vex and Trinket didn't. She took over 50 points of necrotic damage, which brought her below 0 health. The look on their DMs face when her player failed the throw, and hers when she realized Vex is for all intents and purposes, very dead, is priceless.

2023-02-23 15:10:58 +0000 UTCThe belt Grog got is the Belt of Dwarvenkind, it gives you the benefits of being a dwarf (you are tougher, resistant to poison and can see better in the dark) and it has a 50% chance of growing a beard on the person wearing it each day. Grog loves this because his race (Goliaths) can't normally grow any hair on their heads (including facial hair). Also, trapfinding is one of the few skills Barbarians (Grog's class) is actually good at. In game, they are also good at disarming traps, usually done by triggering them and just tanking the damage because they're just that tough heh.
