2023-01-26 20:41:32 +0000 UTCyeah Kobeni is pretty impressive lol, that's why I talked about her being one of my favourites in the series along with Power, what happened with her before was just a severe anxiety attack, partly caused by Power being Power and making things worse, she's an incredible fighter but she's grown up as an abuse victim her whole life so she gets walked over a lot in life and lacks confidence.

2023-01-26 16:13:58 +0000 UTCAside from her crazy power, Makima's is a powerful manipulator. She knows just what to say to people to move the conversation her way. Look at her past conversations with Denji, every time he seemed about to lose interest in her or motivation with the job she would do something to get him interested/motivated again (fed him when they first met, offered him whatever he wanted if he hunted the gun devil, etc). She's also good at deflecting direct questions about herself (the drinking bet when they were at dinner as a a group, as well as not answering the question just now). She's pretty scary as a person, not just in terms of killing people.

And yeah it's funny how, despite her introduction, Kobeni seems to be in the upper echelon of threatening characters we've seen so far. Even crazier when you consider the fact that she did all that seemingly without her devil contract while still being just a rookie.
