Once again, Rick's remorse and sadness got to me... The mixing of the Beths was kinda hard-hitting!

I remember some people complaining that this season was overly and weirdly sexual (Dragons, Planetary sex), but I’m not sure if that’s why people tend to disregard this season. I think this episode, and especially the ending, shows they’re still very capable of making an emotionally powerful episode. It does however start the trend of most of the big episodes being the finale and/or premiere.

I don't know I saw Roiland on a podcast years ago and he said that him and dan harmon write very little of the show anymore, it's mostly the writing staff's stuff that gets in now. The voices is the tough part, I mean he's both rick and morty that's gonna be hard to pull off recasting for.

Then there is the "domestic abuse" where the woman is clawing at his eyes, and he punches her to get her off.

2023-01-24 23:46:29 +0000 UTCIt was just announced that Adult Swim cut ties with the co-creator Justin Roiland due to domestic abuse allegations, Justin was basically the head of it all and voiced 70% of the characters, including both Rick and Morty. This seems like the end and most likely Adult Swim will cancel the show.
