Actually there is one very important piece of information you should remember about this episode, it's regarding Barto. Our boy Barto burned down an island and declared it as Luffy's territory. The island was actually in Shanks territory. This was on a cover story for the manga, chapter 875. So how will Shanks respond?

I actually think these recaps will be a benefit for you because it would help with the smaller details from earlier in the arc. You’ll probably see a few recap episodes as we move forward. This is mainly to buy time for the animators as you’ve seen the quality of the episodes have been over the top. So it’s a benefit in the long run for when you reach the big episodes like 1015 and 1017.
