2023-01-17 19:36:31 +0000 UTCI told you this episode was a hard-hitting one. ^^ It really brings the grief to the surface on all sides. And I've always really loved that little scene with Menma's brother. It's hard not to be sympathetic for their mom... understand how she could struggle to pull herself out of that grief... But he's right. She does have another child that she's been neglecting in favor of this continuous mourning. I really do think this show is the best portrayal of grief I've ever seen. Even the characters who did get up and continue to go about their lives as expected are still affected in their own ways.
