2023-01-18 05:02:57 +0000 UTCLicita’s reasons for abandoning Asta is probably the most saddest part of the series due to how her magic steals mana and life from those around her. This may have well been the reason why Asta was born without any magic as she may have stolen his mana during pregnancy. It also gets even more sad how this ended up killing her as she didn’t want to go through the pain of losing another child when Lucífero tried to take over Liebe 😥 This however also just makes for more reasons to get jazzed up for the fights against the Dark Triad and the devils. You can’t get a more compelling motivation and emotion to win after seeing and understanding this backstory. (Also, the name “Liebe” that she gave to the anti-magic devil means “love” in German.)
