this is an awesome way to do story time haha. i grew up in a similarly rural area and memories with a black friend that are more or less the same. i was friends with the only black kid in my school, but i never saw him get bullied for his race. we were both bullied for being so short/skinny and nerdy haha. eventually he moved away and it made me very sad.
