2022-12-23 16:30:55 +0000 UTCFor context since you skipped the filler arc. There was a group of vigilante citizens who wanted to hunt down Devils and those associated with them. However, this was all a front by a group of commoners who revered Devils and wanted to claim their powers. They killed their own members who genuinely feared and hated Devils and planned to abduct Asta and his grimoire and offer it to The Spade Kingdom so they could obtain their own Devil powers. However, their plan is quashed and they are banished from The Clover Kingdom. It's not a bad filler arc, but I get wanting to stick to the main story. Only mentioning this because they were using a lot of footage from that short arc. Beyond this episode, the arc has no consequences that persist in the main show and the devil worshippers are never mentioned again.
