She's an alcoholic, and so is Rick lol same vices. They are all terrible people 😂 don't take me saying the development is going in a good direction for her character to mean I think she's becoming a good person or something. They all have issues, but Jerry is really the only one I can't stand a lot of the times but he makes for some great comedic moments.

Jerry is kinda pathetic, summer is narcissistic, and morty tries to do good but seems to not ever pull it with his weener getting him into trouble frequently

2022-12-24 03:19:56 +0000 UTCYeah, the keyword being "sometimes" reflects on his actions lol but he does the same things as Beth. I already said in a diff video that Rick is a complex character who goes through a lot of ups/downs, but this episode basically showed Beth and Rick are very much alike. Taking similar actions, have similar vices, and even using the same logic (i.e., "I'm sorry you feel you deserve an apology"). Obviously she isn't going to be exactly like Rick, she has different life experiences than he does. Those qualities that are like Rick though are what make me enjoy her character more. And I see Beth coming to realizations she hasn't had before and that's development in a good direction for her character.

2022-12-23 13:47:22 +0000 UTCEhh I am the opposite. I think it solidified my hate for Beth even more. Like she is a version rick, except she lacks the ability of self-reflection. Everything that goes wrong for her, is always someone elses fault despite her actions. Rick at least sometimes reflects about his actions "I dont know why I do what I do, maybe I hate myself"
