Shes not the black dragon as in the last episodes preview you can see her being born from the dungeon wall, and the dragon has been confirmed by Hermes to still be alive. My personal theory is that to defeat the black dragon you have to unite humans and monsters' strengths together, as neither group, even with its strongest Familias, can do it alone

2022-12-22 00:47:25 +0000 UTCJudging from Wiene's first appearance and how that corresponded with an episode where they talked about the black dragon, I figured she was the dragon, what with the scales on her. They seemed to recognize her as a specific type of monster though, so maybe she's not and it's more about shifting Bell's views of monsters as a whole. Either way, predicting that the black dragon ends up not being so bad and people are the problem, because people suck.
