It is in fact the old man Bell called grandfather, Zeus was very much known as im sure you've found out if you saw videos on greek mythologys, for shapeshifting, we see it at the beginning of the show when Bell has a flashback to him that he got 'killed by a monster', although i assume its far more likely he just went back to Heaven to leave Bell to his own adventuring

Wonder if that will all just translate here as him just being a big pervert. On a side note, I wonder if the Zeus grandfather that is being referred to is the old man Bell calls grandfather or some other individual we haven't met yet.

It's not totally clear whether he's a direct descendant or just adopted, although it would explain his gaining of an ability that allows him to grow to insane levels so quickly. I mean you've got plenty of other adventurers who agonize over not being able to get strong, yet he gained an ability that allowed him to do so from sheer will? Seems like there's more to that than just coincidence. It also perfectly explains gramps advice of "peeping on girls is a mans romance", Zeus was always a massive perv xD
