Him spamming that sword attack reminds me of when bosses do that in video games. It's uncreative and annoying! Also note that the first Wizard King is named "Silvamillion Clover" All three royal families are descended from him.... Sadly the gene pool experienced some hiccups when the current king was born, but hey, 2/3 isn't bad! But with him being a prince and therefore his sister a princess, Licht's son would have been an ideal heir to bring humans and elves together into a single kingdom as I imagine Luminiere would pass it over to his nephew since he was more interested in magic and science than politics and ruling. I think Licht would also be elevated to royal status. I do ponder how the kingdom would have been shaped had their union gone through... In a game called Vandal Hearts, the backstory of the nation you play as a secruity force guard to was that the royalty and nobility were oppressive, though not all of course. A rebellion formed although its founder meant to create an equal society, not switch the oppressors and the oppressed. Sadly that is what happened, the royalty and nobility were stripped of their lands and riches and confined to a "ghetto" while the richest men plundered all the power. Secre(Nero) and Lumiere having this contingency plan reminds me a bit of how Hoenheim and the Xerxians within him had their own plan against Father once he reached his apex back in FMA:B. Unlike Hoenheim they did not know when or even if Zagred would return, but if he did, they had a plan in place. Sorry for the long winded comment XD

2022-11-30 20:43:50 +0000 UTCYeah, the big twist here is pretty cool, with the Statue of the First Wizard King being the actual guy and Nero the bird being his hot assistant. Also, I wasn't sure if Curtis peaced together that the blonde in the flashbacks was the Wizard King, so I did keep a lid on calling him that up until now.

2022-11-30 15:02:47 +0000 UTCThere were a lot of big theories about what the deal was with nero, this random Anti-bird that always happened to find things that were important: the main theories were that she was either Astas Devil using an anti bird to look out into the world or the Spirit of anti-magic (like what yuno and Fuegoleon have) they were both wrong but i love Nero (or Secre, i guess) so the fandom was fine with it
