Gai is voiced by Viral of Gurren Lagann and Ikkaku of Bleach and Hiei of Yu Yu Hakusho. The intro song is done by Masaki Endoh who is part of Jam Project, founded by Ichiro Mizuki who was singing the Grandfather of mecha, Mazinger Z's opening. His fellow band member is Hironobu Kageyama sung DBZ's intro's.

As can see, Gai really shows his commitment to being a hero as he goes out despite still being in ICU and does so under the chance that Final Fusion and the battle itself, win or lose could kill him.

A lot of technical terms and stuff going wrong like Gai in ICU after the battle, Final Fusion having a setback and Gai needing to improvise with Drill Gao as a weapon, the series noting the extensive damage which comes into play which will be dealt with later.
