2022-11-08 20:09:14 +0000 UTCI think when it comes to guys like Roy, they're douchy, selfish, and aloof, but the significant other tries to tunnel vision the good aspects of what drew them to their partner in the first place. Pam is clearly a kind person and so she is willing to forgive Roy when he wrongs her or someone she cares for. I do think Pam knows Roy is not entirely what she thought he was and we, as the audience, can tell that she and Jim would be a great match since they clearly get along and care about one another. Plus they're arguably the only ones who have a genuinely healthy relationship among the Michael crew. This is my opinion though, not an expert on the matter.
