2022-11-07 17:22:26 +0000 UTCHell yes, my favorite episode! The subtlety of Mr. Poopy Butthole's inclusion is actually genius. They put him in all the shots of the opening credits, which at the time makes you think it's a clever gag about the parasite inserting itself into those memories. But later, when it's revealed that the parasites can only create positive memories, it becomes clear that Mr. Butthole was real because the opening credits is exclusively bad things happening to people, but at that point most people will have forgotten that little gag and still be on Beth's side thinking that he's fake right up until he gets shot.
