That level of catharsis would be lethal in normal humans. Now here's a question: Would Doomguy and Denji get along? Or would he see Denji as a demon and try to kill him? I'd like to think Doomguy would approve of his lifestyle of killing devils, but disapprove of his means for doing so (the whole getting his abilities from a devil thing).
