2022-10-12 17:22:33 +0000 UTCIt is worth putting "go easy" in citation marks. When the elite goes easy on cybernetics, they still have good parts of their heads and hands exchanged for cybernetics. They just dont tend to have more than basic combat augments... Which is why rich people have access to trauma team(i explained trauma team in the comments of last episode), if someone fucks them and their bodyguards over then they get a team sent to rescue them, no matter what is in the way.

This series is animated by Trigger (Kill la kill studio) and there's a joke that in every series they make they end up going into space. So lots of jokes about David and Lucy on the moon in this episode. Regarding cyber-psychos, basically, every person has a different level of tolerance towards cybernetics, as they add a lot of stress to the nervous system and brain, in addition to being rejected by the immune system. The more cybernetics, the more strain, and if someone exceeds their limit, they go into cybercycosis. They go insane and turn into mindless murder machines, like the guy in the very start of the first episode. It's the biggest risk of cybernetics and is why most of the elite in the city go easy on them and rely on their hired muscle instead.
