Crunchyroll has the Japanese version. I highly recommend that one because the yugioh dub is notoriously censored and changes the script

The English dub is where memes are made. Jokes aside the English dub has issues with voice performance (at first, they get better later in the same way as Dragon Ball Z's English dub) and the fact it was done by FourKids. They are heavily known for censoring a lot of stuff in their shows like guns and the fact some people can die in these duels. If I was to give my honestly opinion the Japanese version might provide a better experience if we are looking for a good show. However, the English dub does have the benefit of being so bad it's good so no matter what your choice is I think you're going to have a wonderful time.

Personally I'd go for the Japanese version, you can find it on Crunchyroll. I know the 4kids version is more iconic, but all censors just ruins the show for me. Not to mention, it's also not as emotional as the original either.

please watch it in japanese, you can then react and cringe to choice clips of the 4kids dub, which is much better seen when one is aware of the original in my opinion.

The dub is the version that a lot of us grew up with, yeah. I've seen some of the sub and it's not terrible either. The reason I looked at that is because the subbed version is a lot of times also the uncensored version. This was back when localization teams liked to take anything even remotely sexual and censor it to kingdom come.

Dubs good for anime like yugioh. I think the only thing that really changes is more explicit references to death or hell rather then being banished to the shadow realm but I dont think it really detracts from the series much
