Animation is phenomenal, the choreography is top notch, the hype levels are off the charts....buuuuut can can all admit that Inosuke being able to move his internal organs around at will is dumb, right? Like, I get it, they're fighting literal demon's there has to be some suspension of disbelief, but like...just feels like pulling something out of your ass to not kill off a beloved character to me. And okay, putting that aside because "anime logic", can someone explain to me how he's keeping up with Zenitsu when Zenitsu is going "godlike speed"? Z-man is the speed guy, that's his thing, why is Inosuke able to match his speed to help him with the slash? Even within the universe's explanation of how powers work that doesn't make any sense. Still hype as hell, but it just doesn't feel right if you think about it too long, right?

Also speaking of Demon Slayer fights, there is a Tanjiro vs Ichigo (bleach) rap battle out on youtube for anyone who hasn't already seen it. I'll be honest tho, the rap battle hasn't quite got the same animation standard as the show 🤣

It isn't one where the protagonist and his friends become super powered and defeat everything without any losses through the power of friendship. The fight to both get to and defeat Muzan is one that will require the entire Demon Slayer corps working together, and even then the odds are stacked against them.

2022-05-16 14:08:00 +0000 UTCThis is likely the best episode of anything 2022. No, it will not change! Gigguk made a video about how this fight set a new standard for anime. Well, sucks to be anime! No other studio can do things like this, no other studio even comes close. Having the money from what was GLOBALLY the highest grossing movie of 2020 (of any kind) in their pockets surely helps but yeah this fight is insane! With this standard of fight scenes pretty much every fight from here on out will go down in history as one of the best fights of all time. As for an upcoming fight... I will die.

I don't even have words to describe everything about the beauty 😍 Beyond that, ever since the All for one vs all might, Naruto and Sasuke vs Jiren, and even the current fight that's going on in one piece I haven't been this invested in a fight like this one in Demon Slayer!! I honestly did a cook out for this one with most of my kids and their kids, since most of them are huge anime, and Demon Slayer fans. We honestly were so into it that we all started cheering for our boys. I was the most excited I was like, "Come on boys!! You guys can do it!!" While one of my kids told me, "pops, tanjiro doesn't look good!" I replied "he'll pull through! I just know it, go tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Uzui!! Cut their heads off!!" Then they did and we all cheered. By this point I was a little tipsy but happy our boys won. But then the end came, god damnit. I saw the state Tanjiro was in and literally threw my beer and ran to our TV, and yelling like he was hearing me, "Tanjiro, Tanjiro ye gotta calm down boy!! Breath! Try to breath!! Calm down!!!" Then I saw Uzui yelling something and was like, "Do you guys hear what he's saying or is it my bad hearing?!!" Then we heard what he said and then what happened after and I literally yelled as I fell on my ass, " What the Fock!!!" We were all left speechless but god dam was this a freaking awesome fight! Hope the enjoyed my embarrassing story lads!

2022-05-16 13:15:17 +0000 UTCMan every release of demon slayer has some sort of one of the all time best fights in anime history, S1 with episode 19 of Tanjiro vs Rui (Spider demon) The Movie with Rengoku Vs Akaza and now S2 with Tanjiro and Uzui vs Gyutaro and Zenitsu and Inosuke vs Daki. I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT S3 brings, tho I have read the manga so I do know what to expect at least story wise lol.

This is by far my fav episode of any anime in a LONG TIME, the fight scene in this episode is just SUPERB, oh man I've watched this episode like 30 times already I just love it. 1 of my 1st thoughts after I finished this episode for the 1st time was I couldn't wait for you to watch it and now the day is finally here. I got my salt and vinegar chips and Dr pepper and I'm ready here watching this.

And their are still 5 demons who are wayyyy stronger then him. 6 including Muzan. Also I gotta say I absolutely LOVE that halfway point image. Because in the manga the author put up a quote on there. The one with tanjiro and gyutaro "Two sides reflected off the same mirror. One as a demon, the other a person, both as brothers"
