Sadly the three wives has nothing to do with being a Hashira. They were his wives, as the episode said, selected for him at 15 because of his shinobi family. So it's being a Shinobi, not a Hashira that gets you dem wives. But I'm sure being a Hashira wouldn't hurt either!

2022-05-10 15:19:32 +0000 UTCSomething I heard which could honestly be true jz that Tengen gave up so easily on taking the three boys with him to the red light district is the fact that they have the same personalities of his wives. Tanjiro is Hinatsuru, Suma is Zenitsu, and Inosuke is Makio. So that could be a reason why he took them with him. Which is honestly pretty funny

Literally EVERYONE is in that cave while Tanjiro is out here struggling to fight an Upper Moon by himself. Not a critique at all, but funny when you think about it.

2022-05-10 13:29:19 +0000 UTCWhat's hilarious is that his wives all basically have the similar looks (as far as the hair) as Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke as well as similar personalities (cowardly, aggressive and kind) but their personalities are all switched. Author was having fun with this arc.
