I know names are tough for you anyway, so this show might have a bit of an added challenge. ^^' When they were kids, they all gave each other nicknames that combined their given and surnames. So Meiko Honma became Menma. Atsumu Matsuyuki (the dick on the bridge who was making fun of Jintan for not going to school anymore) became Yukiatsu. Most people gravitate towards calling them by their childhood nicknames, as that's still how they tend to remember each other, but you'll hear each character called by a few different names throughout the show, so hopefully this helps with some of the confusion.
