DRAGON BALL Z - KAI VERSION & FILLER
Added 2022-03-31 18:22:01 +0000 UTCHey, Gang, as there's already a lot of conversation about these two topics, I just thought I'd make a post so you know where we're going with DBZ.
As far as the Kai version, I have seen clips of it, very similarly to how I've seen clips of the original. I'm going with the original version simply as my preference. I don't put these things up to a vote, as it's exactly the same as how I learned my lesson about sub vs. dub: The conversations/polls get WAY too heated and people get nasty, and I try to keep all of that stuff out of The GOOSH. So, I make the call as best I can in each situation, and I'll shoulder the responsibility for the decision.
As far as filler, I've been going back and forth, but you guys now have me leaning more towards watching it. I do love these characters and think most of us would enjoy it. I prefer to either watch all filler or none, just because of the same issues arising when people get upset about certain episodes being included or skipped.
Hope this clears things up. 😊

Unfortunately it's not... When you make a search for it, you get a list for dragon ball Z and dragon ball Z (Original). But if you click on Original you're redirected to the list of all anime. Still, I'll enjoy any version that' being reacted here :P

2022-04-01 02:05:53 +0000 UTCI grew up with the original so there's a nostalgic feel to it but the dub is much less accurate... to say the least compared to the kai dub. As long as you're aware of those facts then you're all set to go. Besides who says you can't go back after the original and watch kai later. I'm not saying directly after but that's always a possible option. Also Kai you pretty much have to have the blu ray/DVD to watch in its entirety... otherwise you'd have to order each season on Amazon prime but I don't believe that the buu saga is available to stream on Amazon prime. So the 4 seasons of kai which goes up to the end of the cell saga would be about 63 dollars per season to stream. And buying the blu rays/dvds is much cheaper. So just from this, unless you have a set up for the Blu ray/DVD (which you may idk), the original is the only one you can react to the series in its entirety. Since I know you only watch from official sources.
