It's good to see the characters interact outside of their work and show they're actual friends in their normal day to day lives, I think that's a simple thing that can get overlooked a lot in other series, sure it's good to see characters bond while fighting together, but something as simple as them just hanging out together can do that more effectively, it shows they're not just work friends, they actually enjoy spending time together outside of school.
