2022-02-14 15:23:31 +0000 UTCOne thing that was cool about King Picollo is that he took no chances as a villain. Having been locked away for centuries, he made sure to eliminate any threats before searching for the Dragon Balls. Which is funny as even as he is, he would curb stomp anyone. But it shows how much the Containment Wave scared him. Also he's shadow Archetype of Frieza in a way. Despite both having killed many and are pure evil, King Picollo does get upset at losing his offspring and in a twist sense, empathizes with convicted criminal over being locked away. If contrast him to Frieza were he has no loyalty to anyone, not his Father, not his men no one. Even his most effective men are little more than tools for him. It's that kinda thing were you see just how much the stakes were raised in Z were even Vegeta early on killed Nappa over him being useless.
