Looks like Gintama managed to win! Fairy Tail had a 3-1 lead and Gintama did the impossible and pulled the victory! There should be another nomination happening quite soon after Dragon Ball is finished, so there will be another opportunity for all these series in the upcoming weeks.

Honestly Fairy Tail holds a lot of nostalgia for me, and it was how I got my mom into anime, so my vote is for FT, as much as I do like the idea of Gintama. Saw a lot of hate for FT in the comments but I really don't see why. The power of friendship theme really isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, and the fights are still really badass, plus the humor is on point, and the fanservice is great all around (except for people who don't like the wendy fanservice cause its loli, but even that is minimal) It really is a good show (even if some will never admit it) Understandable if it falls off for you in the later seasons, but it doesn't for me

Dang what since when does fairy tail have this kinda momentum especially against a show like gintama,Ive never heard it brought up with the same consistency I hear about gin in goosh comments. Also dang I dont get people vying for jobless rudeus would probably make even curtis uncomfortable . Im voting gintama because its dope even if inuyasha or rurouni kenshin are definitely closer to the heart

WOW! At the moment Gintama actually surpassed Fairy Tail in the poll! FT was leading since the beginning so that’s quite a rare occurrence, usually the leading vote always stays ahead. Well regardless whoever wins this, there should be another poll quite soon as we approach the end of Dragon Ball. So all the other shows will have another opportunity very shortly.

I'll be honest I'm not a huge fan of gintama, and was hoping for FT to beat it, but the biggest reason for me was I thought there was 600-700 episodes of it and didnt want a series taking 2ish years to finish but I come to find out there's about ½ that, so itll take about a year tk finish which im fine with, so now I'm more into it being chosen for the people who want it, I personally won't watch it, but I can now be fine with it winning, I'm still gonna stick with my FT vote, but I won't really be dissapointed if Gintama wins now.

The problem is that the most popular shows out there he’s already seen. So what we have left are the slim pickings leftovers nobody wanted before. Most people don’t venture out of their comfort zone, so unless it’s popular with the masses it’s not likely to gain a following. So Jobless is just popular and recent enough to get votes.

In my opinion, Gintama deserves the victory this time. It has been so close to winning on a few polls and now seems like the perfect time to showcase it. Fairy Tail is alright, but Gintama seems more appropriate.

I like Fairy Tail for it's own reasons, but I know that it's a bad idea to have Curtis watch. He'd enjoy Boruto more than Fairy Tail. The only reason people think he'll like it is cause of the Erza fanservice, but they forget that there's also a lot of fanservice he would actively dislike.

Nope. That's why I mentioned that anyone can change their vote. If they see that the show they voted for isn't going to win, they can simply switch that vote to one of the two top vote-getters. I don't want to be changing the rules every time someone is looking to usurp the results, and besides, depending on how the numbers go, I may be utilizing a second vote on this one to work out something else.
